Barcode and Cashless System

A day out with buddies...woot..woot. Not easy thought for us to get together, especially me with classes every weekend. The nearest destination that we can think of is SUNWAY LAGOON THEME PARK.

Okeyh. Straight to the point. It is an entry about cashless system that has been implemented by Sunway Lagoon. Visitor will have their own wristband upon payment equipped with a barcode. Err.. i guess the RDIF wristband is no more, because what we get, is a normal wristband with a barcode. Basically the function remains the same. The wristband can be loaded at any time during our visit at eLoad counter. Purchase inside the theme park could be made via the barcode scanning. Nevertheless, cash is still permitted for any business deals eg: buying merchandise and refreshments.

The whole idea of using cashless system is very suitable by looking at the nature of the theme park. Especially to those who are going to the Wet Park, this could be a very convenience device. Visitor, need not to worry about bringing along their wallet/purse. They could just enjoy their ride without thinking of any hassle.

Wikipedia explain that, a barcode system is a network of hardware and software, consisting primarily of mobile computers, printers, handheld scanner, infrastructure, and supporting software. Barcode systems are used to automate data collection where hand recording is neither timely or cost effective.....esuk la sambung..aku ngantokk..hahaaa
